Coupons are a fantastic way to get instant discounts on your bookings. When customer come across a valid coupon code, can apply it during the checkout process while making booking. The discount will be automatically calculated and will get the reduced price before making the final payment.
Here are steps to manage discount coupons:
- Login to admin dashboard
- Go to “Setup” menu from dashboard.
- Under “Discounts” go to “Coupons”
How many options for coupons in Rezervy?
Below is detail about each option in coupons parameters:
Coupon Code:
Coupon code is a unique code that is used to redeem a discount or special offer. Customers enter the coupon code at checkout to receive the discount or special offer.
Percentage or Flat value coupons:
Flat and percentage-based discounts are two common types of discounts that businesses offer to their customers. Flat discounts are a fixed amount off the original price of a product or service. For example, if a product is priced at $100 and there is a $20 flat discount, the customer will pay $80
Percentage-based discounts are discounts that are calculated as a percentage of the original price of a product or service. For example, if a product is priced at $100 and there is a 20% discount, the customer will pay $80
Coupon Value:
Coupon value is the amount of money or percentage that is discounted from the original price of a product or service.
Start date & Expiry date of coupons:
Start and end dates of discount coupons are the dates when the coupon is valid for use. The start date is the date when the coupon becomes valid, and the end date is the date when the coupon expires and can no longer be used.
Coupon Status:
Admin can change coupon status to active & deactivated from dashboard settings anytime to
Show on Front:
You can set frontend visibility status to show/hide. You can list discount your discount coupons on checkout page. User don’t need to find coupon code anywhere. Customer can choose coupon from list and take the benfit of discount. This listing of coupon is manageable from settings.
Usage type:
You can control coupon usage limit for users single or multi use. Single-use coupons can only be used once by a customer, while multi-use coupons can be used multiple times by the same customer.
User type:
We offer ability in Rezervy to set coupon for specific type of users. Like: New Users, Existing Users, Guest Users or All type users. It is great feature to offer discount to specific type of users. Coupon will be valid to selected type users only.
